 Safe use of Daily equipments

There are many types of equipments that we use in our daily life. We need to be aware while handling them. Caution is a must while operating them. Sometimes accident may take place due to our negligence. According to profession different equipments are to be used. The use of Kitchen ware equipments, water heater, gas heater, is different. Thus the equipments are different as per use, type, area and occupation.

We need to strictly follow the safety rule while operating the equipments. Following are the safety ways that we need to abide while operating the equipments.

Electronic equipments

Electric heart, iron, fridge, Radio, F.M. , Television, computer, Laptop etc are the electronic equipment that we use commonly. While operating them, we need to adopt the following ways:

1. Check the plugs whether they are short or not.
2. Repair the wire if burnt due to electric short.
3. Replace the plugs if don't work properly.
4. Switch on the plugs after connecting equipment.
5. Protect the switch, plugs etc from the water.
6. Switch off the plugs after use.

Gaseous Equipments

Gas stove, gas heater, gas Greaser, etc are the gaseous equipments. They are operated with gas. While using them we need to handle very cautiously. Following precaution must be adopted while operating them.

1. If there is leakage of gas, open the doors windows and ventilation before lighting the gas stove.
2. Switch off the gas regulator if there is leakage of Gas.
3. Get the gas examined with the specialist frequently.
4. Let the windows and ventilation open while using gas Heater.

Other Equipments

While using other equipments, we need to adopt the following precautions

1. Care the safety valve while using pressure cooker. Let the vent be open for the release of gas/ steam.
2. Use Mask while using Gas Welding.
3. Use welding glass while working.
4. Use mask and helmet while working.
5. The position of on and off switch must be at the same place.
6. Protect the hand and legs from the spinning machine.
7. Use cotton clothes or shoes on working place. Adopt the safety as per the nature of work. Use ear blocker while working with loud noise.
